In the 2023-24 NBA season, only two players will earn more than LeBron James: Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

Curry will make $51.9 million next season, making him the highest-paid player in the NBA.

Stephen Curry

He is coming off a season in which he averaged 32.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, leading the Golden State Warriors to their fourth championship in eight years.

Durant will make $47.65 million next season, which is the second-highest salary in the NBA. He joined the Phoenix Suns in the offseason after winning two championships with the Warriors.

Kevin Durant

Durant is one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, and he is expected to be a major factor for the Suns in their quest to win a championship.

James will make $47.60 million next season, which is the third-highest salary in the NBA. He is still one of the best players in the league, but he is no longer the highest-paid player.

Other players who will make more than $40 million include:  - Nikola Jokic ($46.6 million) - Joel Embiid ($46.9 million) - Bradley Beal ($46.7 million) - Giannis Antetokounmpo ($45.6 million)

$40M+ Player

The salaries of NBA players have been rising steadily in recent years, and this trend is expected to continue in the years to come.

It will be interesting to see how the high salaries of NBA players impact the league in the years to come. Will the rising salaries make it more difficult for small-market teams to compete?

But one thing is for sure: the 2023-24 NBA season is shaping up to be an exciting one, with two of the biggest stars in the league earning more than $50 million each.
