Dan Lanning is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Oregon Ducks. He previously served as the defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach at the University of Georgia from 2019 to 2021.

Lanning was named the Fain and Billy Slaughter Defensive Coordinator at the University of Georgia in February 2019. He joined the Bulldog staff after two years as an inside linebacker coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Memphis.
