Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend in a star-studded ceremony. Known for his explosive plays on the field, the NFL star took a moment to celebrate a different kind of touchdown as he exchanged vows with his beloved partner.
In a series of beautiful pictures, the wife of the Seattle Seahawks wife, Lauren Jackson shared her happiness on Instagram. Their wedding guests snapped the pictures and videos that were posted by her. By reposting those pictures, Lauren thanked them for attending the wedding.
With his wife, a happy Tyler could be seen easily dancing in the pictures. Lauren donned a beautiful white colored bride dress which had a high side slit and was sparkly. In one of the videos she was showing her ring and in another video they are cutting the cake.
Before Lockett proposed to his girlfriend Lauren, the last September, they both dated for four years. By going down on knees in front of an illuminating sign that read “Will You Marry Me?” he asked his then-girlfriend to marry him. The proposal was surreal and romantic because there were white rose petals scattered around them.
Star-Studded Wedding Reception
No doubt, it was made more enjoyable by a Seahawks reunion of sorts. In attendance, former QB Russell Wilson was present among the football guys. At the wedding, Lockett’s former teammate DK Metcalf was also among the guests in a Tuxedo and shorts. To celebrate this precious moment, Seahawks players, coaches, and staff were also present there.
Tyler Lockett Made Revelations In His Poetry Book
Tyler Lockett is a devout Christian who once opened up about himself that he was saving himself for a marriage and is a virgin. He published a book three years ago titled “Reflections” in which one poem is about his virginity. During an interview with Adam Schefter, he also confirmed this.
“I have a girlfriend and she understands what I’m about and loves God as well,” he said. “She’s cool with being able to wait until marriage. So, for me, as long as somebody understands what they’re getting into and respects it, that’s all that matters.”
In his poetry book, Tyler Lockett dived deeper into the subject and he also talked about his journey with mental health in the book and other sensitive topics.
