Born on 16 October 1992, to Ron and Sheri Harper, Bryce had very humble beginnings. He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormon Church.

His dad, Ron, is a former ironworker who worked for Reinforcing Ironworkers Local 416 back in the heydays of Vegas. His mom, Sheri Harper was an avid cyclist and tennis player back in the day. Currently, she just focuses on taking care of her household and posting fitness-related posts on her social media page.

Harper has always shown his gratitude towards his parents for showing him support and installing the teachings of Mormonism from birth.

Career

Bryce was drafted by the Washington Nationals as the first overall pick in 2010. Harper made his MLB debut in 2012, at the age of 19. In 2012, Harper was named the National League Rookie of the Year, after he batted .270 with 22 home runs and 59 RBIs in 139 games.
