Kreider’s NHL career kicked off when the New York Rangers chose him as the 19th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He then enrolled at Boston College, where he emerged as a standout player and clinched two NCAA titles with the Eagles. In 2010, he netted a goal in the NCAA title game and earned a spot on the Hockey East All-Rookie Team. The following year, he earned the Most Valuable Player title in the Beanpot Tournament and secured a spot on the senior US national team for the IIHF World Championship.
Kreider stepped onto the NHL ice with the Rangers in 2012 and has since become a pivotal player for the team. He has notched over 20 goals in multiple seasons and is renowned for his physical and assertive playing style.
